Art of Ally Rom Colthoff

Paintings

I started making plein air paintings of the natural scenery of southern Ontario in 2011. I found that I really loved it, both as a departure from computer work, and as an exercise in finding unexpected shapes, colours, and beautiful lighting conditions in the places around me. My paintings have been displayed at the Moonbean Cafe and the Tampered Press in Toronto, the Toronto Arts Crawl, the Kawartha Arts Network Gallery, the Federation of Ontario Cottager's Association, and the Queen West Art Crawl in downtown Toronto.
