Art of Ally Rom Colthoff

I'm still very happy with this painting. Acrylic on canvas, 8x11". Painted plein air at golden hour, I had picked the perfect size of canvas and the perfect time of evening to get set up, so that I could finish it in a timely manner before it got too dark to see what I was doing, but I could still appreciate the beautiful light and the interesting way the acrylic paints blend on the canvas when it's cooler and a little damp out.
